Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

Oh man, today was fun. Met with Scott and Criag for Grandeur early this morning. Once we summited, Craig tells us that he went on a run yesterday and didn't take a single selfie of himself. This shocked me so much, I fell over laughing. The falling continued on the way down when I tripped over a rock and banged up my knee super bad. Well, it looks bad and is just stiff. Still fun!

Met up with MVH and Kenzie for some miles up Farmington Canyon. I had no idea this went up so many miles. I can see this is a great marathon pace tempo workout in the future. We picked up the last miles and MVH and I were hitting into 4:40's the last mile as we raced each other to the end. I tasted pennies the rest of the day and Kenzie tweaked her back. Geezers.

It's been awhile since I ran with Kristen O., not since after Boston. She just gets scarier and scarier. Her talent is amazing.

We decided to run half trail half road since we both consider ourselves hybirds, it seemed only appropriate. We ran up to BST and came down Freedom Hills for 10 miles.

We ran into a lot of hunters on the way who really should have just followed us becuase we ran into a pack of 8 wild turkeys on our own.

Good run, felt nice and easy today. 8:50ap

6:00AM- View Benchmark. Lots of ice and snow in places which slowed me down. My energy was drained today, I've ran nearly everyday for 2 weeks aside from Sunday's with some harder efforts. Hate being reminded that I'm human;)

Super cold outside! Felt around 10 in the mountains, breeze was colder maybe.

(90sec active rest, 8:30ap)

The first two miles felt the hardest, the easist was the last. Probably becuase the belt was going faster and I was in the air for half of it.
