Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

That's so wonderful that you have a waterfall within a mile and a half of your house!

Did the property owner come out to yell at you?

Kam- no, but what's that about? We just went another (very steep) way. I assumed part of the land is owned en route to the waterfall, but that the waterfall itself was not privately owned. What's been your experience? We did see a large group ignore it and bypass it, though. We were envious, because our route was not kid friendly.

Well, the waterfall has become a slightly popular destination. Lots of people have come and cut new trails, put climbing pins and such in the waterfall, and done lots of other damage. All waterways in the state of Utah are public domain, but the property around them can be privately owned. The city has been working with this property owner to try to iron out the difficulties.

I see. It pays to have friends with insider Intel.
