Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

Easy 5 miles, 43 mins. Dragging today. I started watching Prison Break with the pilot this morning. Maybe it will get me to run on the treadmill more.

Walking warmup...took forever to just go. 5 miles, 42:10. It's clear  the combo of early mornings on the treadmill are not my favorite.

The air quality is killing me. It should start to get better by Friday, but then a big storm is coming.. doomed to the TM and gym for a while. Maybe I'll brave it out on Saturday.

I'm loosing motivation to run the Ogden marathon and wanting to chicken out and move to the half. The marathon distance is just not my favorite but I really want to hit my time goal. I need motivation and I can find it if I dig deep. It's hard to force, huh.

1 mile warm up

30 mins on elliptical

Crunches and planks

pushups

hip exercises

Off to the gym. The snow is terrible. Core and hip work afterwards.

2 hours of snow shoveling. This counts for something.

2 more hours of snow shoveling. I shoveled half the block of sidewalks and three driveways! My back hurts.
