I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

I am married to a supportive and driven husband. Together we enjoy geocaching, hiking, camping, reading and playing games with our three rambunctious children.

Aside from running, I am a homemaker and a Mental Health Therapist. Running has given me the ability to better concert my energies between my family, faith and friends.

Did some 800's on the mill today. 7x800 at half marathon pace with a 45 sec rest between each. All were done at 6:23 pace, except for the last I did around marathon pace. Comfortable and effortless for me today. I resisted the urge to go faster all in the name of the wonderful week of tapering:) Averaged 7:00 min/mi for a total of 8 miles today including warmup and warmdown. Feeling energized.

Good job on the pace-with that little of rest! Don't you love tapering?? IT always makes me feel a little ansy though.

Christi- Ya, I start to feel so lazy and feel like all my fitness is gone...ha ha, but I know better! A good race next weekend is in order! I am dying to see how St George goes...I wish I could come and watch.
