Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

Easy run with some strides at 1% incline. 15x 25 secs @ 5:30 with equal rest. I tried some new flats today and sprained my ankle in the middle, so cut the workout shorter. Long run tomorrow with Cynthia and Angie.

Yep, apple wouldn't let me input the words. I was on the TM. Actually felt pretty easy, but again, 25 seconds is not too hard either:) To answer you other question, the speed workouts were found on McMillan's website on the side where you can look through his articles. I think he has about 20 articles all together. Anyway, the speed workout was taken from the article entitled something like, "Rethink how you train for a marathon." Let me know if you can't find it.
