Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

More cross training. 60+  mins on elliptical and bike. 6.5 miles of cross train. Abs, roller and streaching followed close behind. I seriously wanted to fall asleep the enitre time I was on the elliptical. In fact, I was watching a show at the gym and wondered if anyone would think it was wierd if I just laid on the ground and watched the movie.

I think it's weird that you don't know how to spell weird.

From allie on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:25:16 from 24.10.191.18

that's an excellent idea. alternatively, you could eat popcorn while riding away on the elliptical.

From Burt on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:28:01 from 72.223.91.148

Nice adverb allie.

From Burt on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:28:54 from 72.223.91.148

Come on Tara! allie's on your list, but I'm not???

From allie on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:30:53 from 24.10.191.18

thanks kindly, burt.

tara! don't cave.

From Kam on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:32:29 from 67.2.47.192

Tara, some time you need to read about Burt's run when he found hundreds of dollars. Rec center?

From Tara on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:35:39 from 75.169.159.43

Burt you hurt my feelings. But even more, you hurt my brain becuase I had to go over the whole, "I" before "E", except after "C" concept and it doesn't even apply!? Ugh. I might have to take the entire day off tomorrow. Oh and Mr Burt, I don't see my name on your list either. PS. I have written too much about myself in the left column that it won't let me add another friend. You are a secret friend. Besides,I don't just put anyone on the friend list, you have to earn it.

From Burt on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:37:16 from 72.223.91.148

Blam! Another solid adverb! No wonder you're on, and I'm not.

Now I need to go check for grammatical and/or spelling errors in my hundreds of dollars entry.

From Burt on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:39:01 from 72.223.91.148

Sorry Tara. Sometimes the grammar police can be brutal.

From allie on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:39:52 from 24.10.191.18

speaking ill of the grammar police. warning #1.

From Bonnie on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:45:16 from 64.119.33.134

ha ha ha, "I have written too much about myself to add another friend" ... you rock Tara!!

From Tara on Thu, Nov 03, 2011 at 22:45:57 from 75.169.159.43

Yeah, that was a brave move. Don't ever speak ill of them again. It seems I'm always paying the price. Everyone on here is always so gramatically correct! If only my spell check would work, or a red underline at least! Then, maybe then I would have made Burt's list. Now I see the red lining....and it's through my name!

I'm not really sure what that was all about.

the ELLIPTICAL IS BY FAR THE MOST BORING EXERCISE. I hated it this morning. I could have fallen asleep too!!
