Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

7:00 -Met up with Kam this morning. I half expected to meet with a group, but I guess it didn't work out. We met up by the dam on BST then continued on the trail into Farmington. We walked a couple of climbs, because we felt like it. We turned down on the decent, my legs hated it, especially my left quad that had been sore since I woke up this morning.  We had good discussions about fueling, mental toughness, holistic health, racing strategies and our excitement about the TOU runners!

The plan was to get in some mp miles in the end, but we ended up maneuvering through neighborhoods, fixing tampered campaign signs, and talking about the Centerville election. I was glad to not push my legs today.

Returned home to an ice bath, muscle milk and Yoplait's new Greek Frozen Yogurt. 2x protein, natural ingredients and live active. Good post snack!

I am going crazy with excitement for Allie's TOU win of 2:44!! Our own FRB'er Nan, holds the course record for her 2009 performace of 2:44:10. I'm not sure if the CR was broken today or if it still stands. Ooooo, this is fun!!<:D

I'm starting to get a complex with all of these top secret "don't invite Andy" runs.

Ah, Caught! What other runs have you not been a part of?! I believe it's usually you and I with Kam gone! You must be feeling good again!:)

I'd like to run a tempo on Tuesday. I could see Kam not wanting to do it, though. Maybe 6 miles at 6:45 pace?
