Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

6:00am-Ran to 400 E, down to Main and looped back home. This was a good time to think through my lesson plan for the first day of Joy School today. Easy!  We'll start with the welcome song then weather, play, sing, learn something, play, potty, snack, and  clean up!  Not sure why I had to think it over so much! Except you can never really stick to any sort of plan with a bunch of three-year-olds.

While I tried to stick to a schedule, there were a lot of things that actually happened that were not in my LESSON PLAN! What!?:) Typical 3 year old stuff like, breaking up fights, wiping tears, playing the sorry game (with me saying both"sorry" and "it's okay" for both the victim and the perpetrator,) cleaning up a bloody nose after a kid round house kicked another, and wiping bottoms x2.  I'll get the hang of it...hopefully. Next time I pulling out the bounce house and the concession carts. Circus animals.

I was thinking kazoos or recorders. Trumpets, trumpet both those ideas! Brilliant.

cool. I did joy school for my oldest, way back when. She is now 15. Where did the time go? I don't know how I did it but I managed to get all the three year olds to do a Christmas pageant/play complete with costume. It was my idea and was at my house. Man I used to be a multitasker. Now I am like a grandma waiting for grandchildren accomplishing nothing at all. Ha ha. Keep up the good work. At least you should have a couple weeks off after you do your turn. That was the bonuse of Joy School.

Thanks Julie! It sounds like you have had a rough go with running lately. Hopefully things turn around for you, and the upcoming winter gives you time to relax and get ready for the spring. I 'll see you at STG, #9 for you!

Also, you are way ambitious with more than just Joy School!
