Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

4 easy on the TM. Legs muscles are slightly sore on the inside of both knees from just the little bit of hills on Saturday. I've been thinking of changing my focus this summer from half-marathon to 10k's. I could pull off three 10k's a month compared to the turn around of a marathon- or even a half for that matter.I just keep thinking about how many variables there are in a marathon. You can train an entire season and have a bad race day. However, a bad 10k is no loss, it can be made up the next week. The payoff's aren't the same though. Hummmm...

Well, if you want my opinion on the matter, and you don't, you just need to make the 10k a more popular race. You're just the person to do that. You were class president and head cheerleader in high school, right?

What that's crazy talk. Are you still going to run the Ogden Marathon? Remember winter will be over soon. That might be just the treadmill breaking you down.

I hate 10ks and 5ks lately. It's funny cuz I use to think they were soooo far in college now I think Thor way to short and too fast haha. It now takes this old tank quite a few miles to warm up and get going but I do agree about the full so many things can go wrong and you train your butt off for that one race.

Go for Half marathons!

Burt- I always want your opinion. It is your opinion that matters most. See, I can be nice too.

Also, I was the head cheerleader, class president, and prom queen in high school. You could say I had a lot of influence over my subjects, I mean class mates. Okay, well maybe that's not all true...I was a cheerleader my freshman year. Anyone in the female gender was welcomed to the team that year. I think there were 50-60 in the squad that year. I was always in the back doing my own thing. It was suggested that I not try out my Sophmore year, so I went running instead. Also, I never ran for class presidency since I only had 5 friends. BUT I was a RUNNER UP (not quite the top 3 royalty either) for Prom Queen my Senior year. My five friends really came through for me that year! Thanks for letting me relive the memories of failure.

Sheridan- I think you are right, the winter has done a spell on me. What are your plans next?

Angie- I hear you. I guess a change of pace is always nice. Are you thinking of Ogden half still?

Andrea- I know. That is my best distance. What do you think about the marathon?
