Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

10 miles down Main Street. My left leg felt like a prosthesis. Knee and big toe hurt for some strange reason. Sometimes this happens for a day then goes away, I predict this to be no different.

Speaking of prosthetics. Steve got offered a potential fellowship in prosthetics and reconstructive surgery at the U. Not sure if he's going to do it, but if so, that would mean another year for sure we would get to stay here. We're just about at the 18 month mark count down, adding another year would be okay with me:) I love this area.

Also, I got a call from someone from SGM. They want me to send in a running resume and a little about myself. I guess they are requesting resumes this year, maybe to verify I can run a decent marathon. I'm still trying to figure it out myself. I wonder if I should just copy and paste my races from my race list for the past few years under "Tara's races" or if I should make it more formal. It likely doesn't matter. My running resume could certainly be better. I'll have to make it up in personality. Maybe I'll burn the edges and send via USPS. That would stand out. That or glitter.

I hear they are spotlighting and inducting Rossy Lee and Amber Green this year for thier dedication the race over the years. That is so awesome!

I don't think discussions about oosik themed jewelry is allowed here, however, the TOU race directed contacted me and wanted my input on prizes for the overall winners, since I'm third party and all. Money is over rated and boring. I directed them to the following site. Scroll down, you'll see.

FYI, his patients are not sickos:) lol. They are people who have lost "special extremities" from cancer and diabetes. Apparently, toes and fingers aren't the only things that turn black and fall off. I'm learning every day.

Dead, allie!

Tara - I never want to see you with poop dangling from your ears!

You won't since I won't be running TOU this year, nor do I have any plans to see you in this life. Cold? Yes:)
