14.11 miles total at 8:35 average pace and HR at 75%. Had some stops for a bathroom break and a drink without stopping the timer, but took aprox. 1:48 to run 13 miles and jogged for the last 1.11 miles up and down my street to get around 2 hours total. My only goal was to run the distance without pushing at all. 14 miles is the furthest I have ran for almost 3 years! Whoa time flies when your having fun, having babies:)
Nice cool morning down main Street. Felt nice and relaxed. Some hills and rolling hills throughout. I think my heart rate is slightly elevated due to being sick the last few days with the stomach flu, but didn't effect my run at all. I really need to start tracking my HR in the mornings to dictate my workouts. I was surprised my legs were a little sore post run so did some stretching and a 15-20 min ice bath with some Naproxen...just to cover all the bases. All better:) Nice easy long run.
