Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

I've been sick since Tuesday. Hopefully I can get over this by Monday and start running again. So excited to see how everyone runs at Boston! Hope they can handle the heat.

Hope you feel better soon! At least the weather has been yucky, you haven't missed any truly great training days!

It sounds like the BAA is really concerned about the forecasted heat. They have a warning up on their website, put a deferment policy in place, and are keeping the course open longer. Crazy. I hope all the bloggers are able to run well anyway. They've worked so hard, it sucks that the weather may not cooperate.

sorry you've been sick. not fun. i hope you feel better soon. a little downtime shouldn't hurt -- in fact, it may be the perfect time to "recharge" after the half and before the 30k.

I hope so, too. Sounds like a stacked field.

Have not read blogs much lately---but, WOW, you are doing great in the winter series! Best of luck on the last race (30k, right?)

Hope you are feeling better! You have to get out and run Monday in honor of everyone in Boston, right?

Happy birthday Tara. From your biggest fan. And by biggest I mean fattest.
