Long-Term Running Goals:

I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

8 miles on the Blvd. Nice and cool morning. Picked up the last 4 slightly to 7:15 AP. Felt fine. I need to pick up my other runs. This pace felt better than my usual lope.

Did you go to college?

Nice and easy on the Blvd. Did you drive up there or run?

Way to get out of lope mode today!

Burt- You hurt my feelings.

Kam- I never dare to run up to Bountiful Blvd., but I run to Davis all the time. Yeah, still planning to help pace last 10k or 5k on Saturday, whatever you need.

Andrea- Easy to get in a lope with an injury huh! How are you doing?

From Burt on Mon, Sep 24, 2012 at 15:25:30 from 71.216.109.214

What? I just asked if you went to college. Because of your vast vocabulary.

Burt- I slept on it and have now forgiven you.

Also, I forgot the best part of my run! I saw a baby rattler that curled up began striking as I got closer. It eventually backed up into a gutter and was washed down stream into a sewer grate. It made me wonder how many Rattlers were down there. Because I wasn't afraid, I feel that makes me really cool and worth mentioning. Bring on the snakes but keep the spiders away, especially Arizona tarantula's!

Thanks Tara N. Tula. Honestly, you should be more afraid of a snake than a tarantula.
