I love training with others both on road and trail. I also find benefits of running solo when I need to focus and regroup.

Fun fact: Although I prefer to run outside, I don't mind the treadmill for pace accountability and for the blind assumption that I can run really fast. I have a lot of secret treadmill PR's at 0% incline:)

I am married to a supportive and driven husband. Together we enjoy geocaching, hiking, camping, reading and playing games with our three rambunctious children.

Aside from running, I am a homemaker and a Mental Health Therapist. Running has given me the ability to better concert my energies between my family, faith and friends.

Hi Barry,

It's getting better. I took a full week off from running since walking was painful. I'm ready to resume tomorrow and see what happens. That will determine if I run the half in Pocatello in a couple weeks. I definitely have no plans to finish on the podium but it's always fun to run:) How about you? How's your sciatic nerve? Are you running the half?

I am glad to hear that your ankle is getting better. How did you twist your ankle? I am good. The sciatic nerve is good, I am keeping it in check by doing a lot of stretching. I found out that driving the fork lift at work was causing my sciatic nerve issues. I will not be running Just Cuz. The four months i had to cut back really hurt my fitness. But, i will be helping out.

I'm glad you figured out the cause. Sounds like you're doing all the right things to take care of it, good for you.

I twisted it while trail running a week ago. My fitness has struggled from lack of having a goal. I forgot to set one.
